The Vincent Girardin Puligny Montrachet Vieille Vignes 2015 is a gorgeous Chardonnay made in typical Puligny Montrachet fashion but with a depth and ripeness indicative of old vines. The wine's nose possesses vibrant notes of citrus fruits, floral undertones and beautiful mineral depth. On the palate emerges amazingly ripe tropical fruit melding effortlessly with earthy notes of slate and hints of sweet spice. The finish is full bodied with gorgeous length and laden nutty and buttery afternotes.
Very fine wine with mineral notes and a well-integrated acidity. The most mineral wine among the white villages wines from the Côte de Beaune compared to Chassagne Montrachet and Meursault. Very long finish.
